Our lesson this week from Telling God's Story Book 1 was Jesus being rejected by his hometown.
J began the lesson with the coloring sheet. She truly loves this activity and take her time to complete it. While she is coloring, I always read her the passage from he bible and discuss the lesson.
One of the activities of the week was to make a toolbox from wood and such. Since I am not that handy and didn't think to buy a tool box making kit, we went the paper route. She created a tool box from Bible Fun for Kids (link below).
Her completed paper tool box - cute. We added it to her Bible notebook. A simple lesson for a rough week. I love how adaptable this curriculum is...you can add extra items if you would like or you can let the lesson stand alone. It all depends on you and how much time you have. Not too bad of a week.
